Spring is indeed the second most wonderful time of the year at Twisted Oak. Leaves start appearing on the vines and deciduous oaks, wildflowers burst out everywhere, noses start running, and our white wines from the previous year are now in the bottle. I recently took a walk around our famous Twisted Oak and caught this photo of the other side.
The most wonderful time of the year? That would of course be "crush" (aka the harvest.) This year's crush likely won't get started until late August or so. Stay tuned for reports from Fermento on the progress of this year's crop.
Until next time - Stay Twisted! - j
