I just put up the banner for November. That is an actual wild turkey filmed on location at Twisted Oak Winery on October 30, 2006.
Don't get any ideas!

I wonder ... what wines would go well with that ... er ... I mean a store-bought turkey?

well, my sticky particle... it turns out lots of wines go well with turkey - I've seen recommendations from Beaujelais to Zinfandel, but for us I would say:
2005 Verdelho
2005 %@#$! (White Rhone)
2004 Grenache
2004 Petite Sirah

It would be easy for me to hypothesize, but I'd like to know some other theories. I think I'll start another post...!

Why did the turkey cross the road?
I'm guessing he was in search of zen or at least some libation easier to spell and pronounce than what falls under the twisted umbrella. Turkeys aren't widely recognized for their smarts.
