Sometimes I Don't Know...

Haggis1 In the comments of an excellent rant on "cauliflower risotto" (by victim of "menu wit" Fredric Koeppel) in his new blog "Bigger Than Your Head", one of the commenters passed along this link:

Yes, this link, just click it

We're still trying to figure out the wine pairing... I'm pretty sure no Scotch will be involved, unless it is Instant Scotch...

I just wonder what veggie they used for the skin of the thing! (since it is supposed to be vegetarian). It is interesting to notice how each culture has its own way of disposing of the unwanted bits ... here in New Zealand, the meat pie is also known as the 'little coffin', serving the same purpose as the (true) hagis serves in Scotland. In the US it is the hot dog, in Germany ... sausage ...

This is all pretty terrifying. Anyway, hagis in a can wouldn't require a skin.

Arghh! This just cries out for a new grape. No, wait! A resurrected grape! Moby grape, I'm thinking...

Arrrr! Ye had to sail a long ways back for that one!
