Somebody in Minnesota told me that years ago, so don't blame me.
I just wanted to reiterate that Tuesday night will be a dinner of Twisted-ness in Minneapolis, arranged by Tim over at Winecast (thanks!) and with wine provided by Twisted Oak (that's us) and featuring the legendary Pimp Daddy. There's still time to get in so check Winecast for details!
Correct about the swamps but anything with 8 feet of water is considered a "lake" here. This time of year we have about 50,000 outdoor ice rinks ;-)
