It seems odd to me that you don't see wineries quoting wine bloggers in their promotional materials (in fact, I have never seen it though I can't say I've made a wide survey.)
Well, it's 2008 and it's high time someone started. There are so many excellent wine bloggers and internet wine writers out there who write every bit as well as the established press - in some cases better, if you ask me. And they do it for the love of it.
And online quotes have an advantage for you, the consumer: a link is provided back to the original source of the quote, so you can see that we didn't play "out of context" games with it. What you see is what you get. And almost totally "ellipsis free!"
As you'll see when you poke around, almost sold-out releases like The Spaniard and the 2005 %@#$!, as well as the 2005 *%#&@! and 2005 Petite Sirah, are well covered. But newer releases like the 2005 Tempranillo and 2006 Verdelho are dependent on quotes from the previous vintage. If you happen to stumble upon any online reviews for these wines please drop us a line!

I love the idea.
I do have one other winery that lists my reviews in their press area, but that's it!

Can't say I've ever seen a review from a wine blogger on a winery website either. As a wine blogger, though, I love the idea! Why should publishing wine experiences be the sole domain of the elite "professionals"?
Rock on, new media!

Obviously as a wine reviewer and blogger, I think this is a great idea and a win/win. Expecially the link back part. Cheers!

I can dig it. Even more power to the people!

My writing is in the website 'newsroom' of a winery - but no shelf talker review yet. Something to look forward to!
