Hi all...Fermento here. Check it out...El Jefe has graciously agreed to sponsor this years 5/6th grade division softball team, The Twisted Sisters (what did you expect, really?), coached by yours truly, Fermento T. Magnificent, along with two other dads...Coach Brian and Coach Rob. No, the girls do not call me Coach Fermento, that'd be wrong.
Throughout the season we will keep you posted on all issues softball, as well as whatever non-softball issues we as dads are privvy to (who likes what boy, what someone said to so-and-so, how atrocious such-and-such's outfit was at last nights school dance).
Above is a shot from today's first practice and I must say that we have a pretty solid team this year. The 5th graders moving up to this division are coming in aggressive and the returning 6th grade gals are stronger and smarter than a year ago. While we need to work on our throwing, our fielding and hitting look fantastic for a first practice.
Later next week we'll introduce you to some of the gals...Hollywood, Syd the Squid, Red, Monster, etc. Gonna be a GREAT season!!
