2009 Visalia DX Convention Contest Dinner
Reservations for
the 10th Annual Contest Dinner on Friday April
17, 2008 at
the International
DX Convention in Visalia, CA are now closed. Seats are now available only if someone else cancels. A limited number may be available at the door.
Where & When: The dinner will be held in the Oak room at the Holiday Inn, Visalia. Doors and cash bar open at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.
Program: Tim
Duffy K3LR, will speak on "The Never-Ending Challenge of Improving Your
Contest Station." Also: The 2008 CQP Awards will be presented!
Menu: The hotel is offering a beef and chicken combo choice this year, and we have a vegetarian option available on request (it's a vegetarian wellington; please let me know when you order):
- Ranch Steak and
Chicken de la Sol Combo:
- Seared 6oz. Certified Angus Ranch Steak
- Breast
of Chicken Topped with a Rich Sherry Cream Sauce
with Sun Dried Tomatoes and Wild Mushrooms - Served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Steamed Medley of Vegetables
- Field of Greens Salad and Assorted Dressings
- Assorted Rolls and Butter
- Chocolate Decadence Tort
- Freshly Brewed Regular & Decaffeinated Coffee and Iced Tea
Other beverages (no antenna jokes please) will be available for purchase at the cash bar.
